The Terror Trail
In November 2008, Mumbai witnessed its worst terror attack that shook the city and the world. The 26/11 Attacks that began with the terrorists landing at 20:00 hours at a fishermen colony in Colaba and held Mumbai's prized district ransom for three days. The terrorists particularly targeted crowded places frequented by foreigners and tourists - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST or VT), Leopold Cafe, Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Oberoi Trident and Nariman House also known as Chabad House - a Jewish outreach centre. They were all high profile and located in and around Colaba.

A Trip To Sassoon Docks
You could spend a beautiful morning, soaking in the rising sun and history of more than a century-old Sassoon Docks in Colaba. The tour guarantees the curious travelers; domestic/foreign tourists and Mumbaikars the perfect Dock experience at the 143-year old iconic structure. This tour will provide a glimpse into the lives of Koli and Banjara communities inhabiting and working at the Docks. Cultures that have been fairly intact since the Docks were first built by a Baghdadi Jew named David Sassoon, Sassoon Docks is the oldest in the city and one of the largest fishing markets in Mumbai today. A Trip To Banganga
Banganga is a centuries-old, ancient water reservoir tucked away in Walkeshwar, Mumbai. A walk through the Banganga settlements is an adventure in itself as the maze of cobbled lanes and narrow paths lead, almost magically, to a set of giant steps and a serene green water tank. An early morning visit to Banganga, Mumbai's very own Varanasi, is probably the best time when one can experience the spiritual energy at its best. Local inhabitants, pundits and visitors can be seen offering prayers amidst the sound of chimes at surrounding temples.

A Trip To Worli Koliwada
Worli Koliwada is one of the earliest fishing villages in Mumbai. The land is also one of the original seven islands of Mumbai where the native fishermen community or Kolis came to be more than 800 years ago. The Worli Koliwada is a maze of narrow lanes dotted with old but picturesquely tucked small houses, many flaunting Portuguese architecture and abundant fish markets. The bylanes take you through a culture walk showcasing the lives and lifestyles of the native Kolis and more recent settlers. You will see a small chapel next to a Hindu temple and they co-exist peacefully.

A Trip To Elephanta
A trip to Mumbai is incomplete without a visit to the most interesting Elephanta Island, located 10 kms from mainland Mumbai. The ferry ride from Gateway of India, the icon of Indo-saracenic style of architecture, to the island is an adventure in itself. The island harbours the world-famous Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The caves have sculptures of Lord Shiva cut from solid rock. What many people don't know is that the island is home to three villages at its base with a rich cultural past. Archaeological evidence suggest human settlement as old as 2nd century BC!

Where Does The Money Go?
DraftCraft is an international media-legal think tank that works primarily in the area of social justice across borders, communities and tribes. DraftCraft is not an NGO and all income is taxed in full. Funds generated from the event are directed towards pro bono activities in the respective area - legal aid camps, educational workshops, community welfare initiatives, women empowerment programmes, films to spread knowledge, documentation of cultures and practices, etc. If you are interested in VOLUNTEERING, you may contact us and we would love to meet you.

Terms and Conditions:
- All payments are to be made in Indian Rupees (INR) and in advance.
- Charges for the event are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Charges for the event are indicative and likely to change depending on the customisations involved.
- Bookings for an event have to be made atleast 12 hours before the start of the event.
- It is mandatory to carry an official Photo ID on person and in original (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Passport). Foreign nationals must carry their Passports.
- DraftCraft will take a copy of the Photo ID (Passport / Visa for Foreign Nationals) at the start of the event for verification purposes.
- DraftCraft reserves the Right To Admission and Expulsion of participant(s) to maintain law and order.
- Loss by any damage to property will have to be compensated for by the participant(s) responsible.
- DraftCraft is not responsible for any unforeseen loss or injury or damage brought to a participant or his belongings.
- Smoking or consuming alcohol (without requisite permit and permission) is strictly prohibited during the event.
